The Chainsmokers pump up Virginia

The Chainsmokers kicked off the concert at Hampton Coliseum with performances from an Electronic Dance Music artist named Gryffin and singer-songwriter Kiiara. As each act went on, the audience became pumped and excited.

Gryffin started the night off with a bang by playing remixes to various songs like "My Youth" by Troye Sivan and "Talking Body" by Tove Lo. As his remixes got the crowd going, Kiiara kept the energy up by playing her songs, "Gold," "Dopemang," and a song by Linkin Park called "Heavy."

Following her performance, there was a small intermission before the Chainsmokers. As the crowd waited with anticipation, they started to chant their name to come out. After a good minute, Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall appeared. To get the energy of the crowd going again, they started to remix various songs, which resulted in the entire coliseum dancing and singing along. Later into the night, they started playing songs from their new album like, "Bloodstream" and "Break Up Every Night." They even surprised the crowd by doing a duet with Emily Warren. They sang, "Don't Say" and "My Type." The crowd fell in love with her voice and sung along right with her.

The night ended on a good note with The Chainsmokers mentioning that Virginia was one of the best places they have been so far on tour. The Chainsmokers and these various artists are on tour until August 11 with 32 shows left.
