Semester Exam Book Projects

As you have probably noticed, the Tiger Times staff has taken a break from covering school news.  The Tiger Times staff has been busy reading journalism-related novels and producing their semester exam assignments/presentations.  The assignment was to read a journalism-related novel, write articles about: the author, a summary of the book, an event from the book, do a book review, and produce a power point.  All of their work can be found under the specific novel tabs.  We hope you enjoy their hard work and possibly find a journalism-related book to read.  The books read were:

  • Betrayal:  The Crisis in the Catholic Church by The Investigative Staff of the Boston Globe (Spotlight)

  • Rather Outspoken: My Life in the News by Dan Rather

  • The Fabulist by Stephen Glass

  • Dispatches from the Edge by Anderson Cooper

  • The Rainbow Comes and Goes by Anderson Cooper and Gloria Vanderbilt

  • The Murder of the Century by Paul Collins

  • Burning Down My Master’s House by Jayson Blair

  • A Lucky Life Interrupted by Tom Brokaw
