Twin Peaks Making a Return

That Gum You Like is Going Back in Style…

On Sunday, May 21, the critically acclaimed TV show, Twin Peaks, aired the four-part season premiere of its reboot series. The show, originally airing in the early 90s, has come back after a 25-year hiatus. Creators David Lynch and Mark Frost have had a bumpy road on bringing the show back, originally planning on having a 2016 release but faced many complications in how to swiftly execute the return.

The original plot revolved around solving the mystery of who killed local teenager, Laura Palmer, then later evolved to understanding the mystery behind the supernatural killer, Bob. The new season deals with Agent Dale Cooper trying to find himself and his other selves between the Black Lodge and reality. The four episodes feature returning stars - such as Kyle MacLachlan, Madchen Amick, Sheryl Lee, etc. – while also bringing over 150 new members to the show – including Michael Cera, Chrysta Bell, Ben Rosenfield, etc. There will be 18 episodes to air in this series.
