The class of 2017's time in high school is quickly coming to a close. Most of the seniors are eagerly looking forward to graduation, including the Senior of the Month for May, Chloe Hartian. Hartian will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall, where she intends to major in marketing. Throughout her last four years, she has taken part in numerous clubs including Girls Ensemble, DECA, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, and the lacrosse team. Hartian has also been a member of many honor societies like National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Rho Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta, and Quill & Scroll. Hartian intends to participate in some form of student council club, choir, and marketing club while she is at Virginia Tech. When asked what her favorite part of high school was, Hartian said, "I have really enjoyed making friends and hope to keep those friendships throughout college." Hartian hopes to continue her successful academic and social careers in her next four years of education as a Hokie.
