Varsity Softball is Swinging for the Fences

Varsity Continues to Play with a Winning Record

With only two seniors, the young varsity softball team has began the season with a 8-1 winning record. The team has been working hard all winter and spring since last season, and the hard work has been paying off. Sydney Jacobsen, a starting Junior, believes that the team has improved since last year, and even has the potential to make it all the way.

By having the same coach, for the past three years, the team has been able to create relationships with each other; therefore, they can play better as a team. Although, there is only two seniors, Jacobsen believes the team will be losing a lot of talent and leadership because of the fact the starting pitcher Alexis Gore and second basemen Skyler Crees will both be graduating.
