Grafton High School Shows Love to Fellow Student

The students of Grafton High School have put on a fundraising program this week titled GHS Heart Week. The theme is meant to go with Valentine's Day and to pay tribute to Andrew Stonier. This student, earlier in the school year, received a heart transplant after having medical complications. Later, after this procedure, he had to get his leg amputated due to a blood clot.

In order to show kindness toward Stonier's family, the Grafton community is organizing several fundraisers. Monday, February 13, there will be a Chipotle* night, where 50% of the proceeds will go to Stonier. On Wednesday, Plaza Azteca in Grafton will be hosting a fundraiser where part of the proceeds will go to a needy member of the Grafton family.

Outside of money based fundraising, the students are raising awareness by having a Zumbathon for Stonier on Friday. For further information in relation to the Heart Week events, visit Grafton's events page: http://www.edline.net/files/_ZNHLE_/4891e230efac10033745a49013852ec4/2-13-17.pdf
