Swingin' in the Trees

On October 20, after interviewing aquarists at the Virginia Aquarium, the Roving Reporters had a magnificent time at The Adventure Park. The park has many zip lines and climbing courses. The courses vary in difficulty. The least difficult courses are the purple courses, next are the yellow and green. The most difficult courses are the blue, black and double black. Double Black courses are expert courses and are extremely difficult, but extremely fun.

During the summer, the park is very busy, so many employees are needed. The park's employees are experts with the harnesses, and the safety of their climbers is their number one priority. Every morning the courses are inspected to ensure there is nothing wrong with them. Rachael Slater, a park monitor, told reporters, "My favorite course is the black storm." When asked what she enjoys most about working at The Adventure Park she said, "I love getting paid to climb." To get this job you have to be very athletic and quick on your feet. If you are looking for an awesome outdoor experience, check out The Adventure Park.
