A Cheerful Start to the Season Competition Cheer Gets the Win at Their Second Meet

The competition cheer team is taking the season by storm with an away win at Grafton on Saturday, October 8. Their crisp execution and routine earned them first place and proved to be redemption for their former loss against Grafton at home. In an interview with Kat Alombro, a senior on the competition cheer team, she discussed what she and her teammates do in practice to prepare for meets, "We practice two hours a day, six days a week. At practice we run our routine, tumble, do stunts, and alter the routine to improve for the upcoming competitions." The competition cheer team has five competitions left in their season and look for a chance to compete at the state tournament.
