The lunch staff and YCSD would like to encourage students to participate in the Healthy High School Challenge. To give support, students will have to purchase snacks in the cafeteria, including juice, water, Izze’s, tea, Pop-Tarts, rice treats, and chips. The more snacks students buy, the higher the chances our school has to win the challenge.
The prize for winning the challenge is money to support the school. All York County School Division schools are participating in the Healthy High School Challenge. "Last year the school won $500 from the Healthy High School Challenge. So come in and spend your money to win more money," said Ms. Nicole Martin.
This is an awesome way for all students to show school spirit and support. The competition will continue until the end of October, so make sure to stop by the cafeteria.
