Be a Fly on the Wall In the Big Brother House

Big Brother's New Season Starts Off with a New Twist

Big Brother, a reality TV show, features "house guests" living in the Big Brother house. Now on its 18th season, Big Brother first aired on CBS in the summer of 2000. The house guests are isolated from the outside world for three months. Every week the house guests compete a competition, a HOH (head of household), a veto, and either a food or luxury competition. Each season there are different "twists;" therefore, no season is the same. Big Brother airs in 40 countries, including the UK, Canada, Australia, and U.S. The show originated in the Netherlands. The United States' version airs each year in the summer, but this year is different. The eighteenth season finale aired on September 22, but this year there will be a second season, premiering called Big Brother Over the Top.

Big Brother Over the Top will be airing only on the CBS website for all access members on September 29, and unlike the recent seasons, it will have 13 house guests. This will include one past player, either Jason Roy from BB17 or Jozea Flores from BB18. In past seasons of Big Brother, there has been a 5-8 person jury of evicted house guests to choose the winner from the final 2, but along with other changes in this season, the viewers get to choose. BBOT, like the other seasons, can watch the house guests on the live feeds 24/7. There are hundreds of cameras the viewers can watch the house guests' every move. One thing is for sure, the new season of BBOT is sure to spice up more drama.
