Over halfway through the season, the Girls' Varsity Volleyball team is doing well. With wins against Smithfield (3-0), York (3-1), Kecoughtan (2-0), Lakeland (2-0), and Apollo Ridge (2-0), the Tigers are a force to be reckoned with. Star players Ashley Muhich and Abigail Carney are excellent defensively and offensively, making them strong opponents. Along with Muhich and Carney, Seniors Leah Stoney and Audre'ana Ellis are also key players that start every game. The Tigers are set to play Jamestown (0-3), Warhill (0-3), and Grafton (0-3) for a second time and will be playing Lafayette, Warhill and Poquoson for the first time. Coached by Mike Honeycutt, the ladies look forward to finishing the season strong.
